Photography income usually depends on marketing you do not enjoy and enquiries that go quiet. Tasks here are posted by somebody who already knows they need a photographer, on a date, for a stated budget. You look at the brief and decide whether it is worth your Saturday.

What the tasks actually look like

Property listings, small events, family and portrait sessions, product shots for people selling online. Most are two to four hours plus editing. The brief usually says how many final images are expected — if it does not, that is the first thing to settle in your offer.

Who owns the images?

Agree it in the task before you shoot. Most posters assume they can use what they paid for; if your licence is narrower than that, it belongs in your offer and not in a conversation afterwards.

Is editing included in the price?

Only if you say so. Quote the shoot and the edit as one figure and state the turnaround, because that is the part posters are actually comparing.

Do I need my own insurance?

Taskly does not provide equipment or liability cover. Venues sometimes ask for it directly, particularly for events, and that is between you and the venue.
