Taskers are asked to verify their identity through Stripe, and pay for that check themselves.

A real mobile number, confirmed by a code we send to it. A Tasker can’t make an offer without one.

A profile photo is required before anyone can make you an offer. A face is what makes an offer easy to trust.

A conversation with Taskly
Someone at Taskly may meet a Tasker on a short video call before approving them.

A new Tasker’s offers don’t reach you until we’ve approved them.

An unapproved Tasker can write an offer, but you’ll never see it. It sits with us until someone at Taskly has approved them. You are not the trial run.

That is the complete list. We don’t run criminal record checks and we don’t carry insurance on your job — so we won’t imply otherwise anywhere on this site.

Your privacy

Nobody gets your details before you’ve chosen them.

Your number stays yours

Your phone number isn’t handed to a Tasker by default. Posting a task doesn’t put you on anyone’s call list.

What is Taskly?

Taskly is a task marketplace where you can get almost anything done — home tasks, errands, lessons, events and digital work. You describe a task by typing, speaking or snapping a photo; independent Taskers send offers with a price; you choose who does it.

How does Taskly work?

In four steps: (1) describe your task by text, voice or photo; (2) someone at Taskly reads it, then Taskers send you offers; (3) you compare them and pick one; (4) you confirm when the job is done.

What does it cost to post a task?

Nothing to post. Describing your task and comparing offers are free, and you don’t need an account until the moment you post. You pay when you accept an offer, and the price you see before you pay is the price you are charged.

Can I post by voice or photo?

You can start either way, and it’s the fastest way in. Speak your task and we’ll write it up; photograph the thing and we’ll tell you what we see and offer a few tasks it might be. Either way you land on a short form where you confirm the details and add anything we couldn’t know — then you post.

What languages can I speak in?

Any of them. Speak in whatever you’re most comfortable in — Punjabi, Hindi, Tagalog, Spanish, Cantonese, English — and your task comes back written in English, ready to edit. You never have to compose in a second language to get a job done.

How is the price worked out?

You set a budget when you post, and Taskers reply with offers at their own price. You compare them and choose — nothing is charged until you accept one.

Why does my task need approving?

Because someone at Taskly reads every single task before it goes out to Taskers. It’s how the feed stays clean, how off-platform pitches get caught before they reach anyone, and how we spot a task that’s missing something a Tasker would need in order to quote properly. You’ll get a notification when it’s live — and if anything needs changing, we’ll tell you exactly what, and one edit puts you back in the queue.

When am I charged, and when does the Tasker get paid?

Posting and comparing offers is free. You pay when you accept an offer, and the price you see before you pay is the price you are charged. How a payment reaches the Tasker depends on your market — the Terms set it out.

Are Taskers checked?

Taskers are approved by Taskly before they can make offers. Onboarding asks for an ID check through Stripe, a mobile number confirmed by code and a profile photo, and someone at Taskly may meet a Tasker on a video call. We don’t run criminal record checks and we don’t carry insurance on your job, so we’re not going to imply otherwise.

Can I pick a specific Tasker?

Yes. Open their profile and book them by name — the task goes only to them, nobody else sees it, and they can accept at your budget in one tap or send a counter-offer. If they can’t take it, you can open it to everyone with one more tap, so it’s never a dead end.

What if the work isn’t right?

On online tasks you can ask for a revision. On any task, raise it with Taskly before you confirm the job is done, and a real person will help sort it out. Cancellations, refunds and disputes are set out in full in our Terms.

Is my phone number shared with Taskers?

Not by default. Messaging happens inside Taskly, and Taskers browsing your task see the neighbourhood rather than your address. Your full address appears once you’ve hired someone — not before.

Where is Taskly available?

On tasklyanything.ai, anyone can post a task, wherever they are, and Taskers are joining market by market. Taskly was built in Canada.

How is Taskly different from other task apps?

You describe the task once, compare offers with prices from independent Taskers, and choose who does it — all inside Taskly, where messages and offers stay on the record. Taskly handles almost any kind of task, not one trade.
