Polish is optional and tidies up your own words. You see exactly what changed, with an Undo, before anything is posted.

We pre-select In person or Remote based on the kind of job it is — a TV mount is in person, a logo design isn’t. One tap changes it.
For in-person work you give an address. While your task is open, Taskers only see the neighbourhood. The full address appears once you’ve hired someone.

You get a recommended range, or three options to pick from, and you can type your own number over any of it.
When a job varies too much to have a going rate, we don’t invent one. We say so, and Taskers send you quotes instead.
The estimate is what Taskers typically charge for a task like this. It’s read from a fixed rate table, not made up on the spot — so the same job, worded differently, gives the same number.

The whole task on one card, editable in place. If you never tapped Polish, we tidy the wording here — visibly, with the Undo already sitting in the card, so you see the change before it goes anywhere.
This is the first and only point you’re asked to sign in. Everything up to here — including your price — happens without an account.

Two kinds of work, two ways of finishing.
They can’t start without your code
When your Tasker arrives, you give them a 4-digit code that only you have. It’s how the job officially starts — and it means nobody can mark work as begun from a car park.
Then: they finish, you confirm, they’re paid.
They deliver, you review
Design, writing, admin, tutoring, marketing, web. Nobody comes to your home — the work gets handed over inside Taskly instead, as a file or written up.
Not right? Ask for a revision — up to two revisions. Approve and they’re paid, or it settles automatically after 3 days.
