Everything about this task is decided by what is behind the drywall, and almost nobody knows before they post. A television on a timber-stud wall is a straightforward hour. The same television on a concrete condo demising wall needs a hammer drill and sleeve anchors, takes longer, and costs more. On plaster and lath the plaster carries no load at all, so the fixing has to reach the lath or the stud behind it, and getting that wrong is how a mount comes off the wall six months later with the television attached.
So the single most useful thing you can do when posting is describe the wall. Knock on it: a hollow sound with a solid point every sixteen inches is timber stud; a dead, hard sound everywhere is concrete or block; a slightly crumbly, dusty feel when you drill a pilot hole is plaster. If you genuinely do not know, say the building type and the decade — a 2015 condo and a 1920s semi tell an experienced Tasker most of what they need.
Cable management is the part people forget to ask about and then mind. Running an HDMI and a power feed inside the wall is a different job from a surface trunk, and in a condo it may not be permitted at all on a demising or fire-rated wall. In-wall power specifically needs to be done with the correct rated components rather than an extension lead in a cavity, which is a code issue rather than a preference. Decide in advance whether you want cables hidden, and expect a fair offer to price it separately.
Height is the other thing worth settling before anyone drills. The common instinct is to mount a television too high — above a fireplace is the usual culprit, and it is the most frequent regret. Sit where you will actually watch from and mark the centre of the screen at eye level from that seat. Two practical things to settle before anyone arrives. First, know where the power is going to come from — a mount over an existing outlet is simple, and one four feet away is a cable run. Second, if the item is heavy and the wall is shared with a neighbour, check what your building says: many condos restrict drilling into demising walls and some restrict hours. Neither is a reason not to do it, but both are much easier to resolve the week before than with a Tasker standing in your living room holding a drill.
