Client work without renting a room first

Most wellness practitioners start by paying for a room they then have to fill. Tasks here arrive already booked — somebody has said what they want, when, and what they will pay — so the overhead is zero until the work exists. You keep whichever clients want to rebook.

What the tasks actually look like

Massage and mobile treatments at the client’s home, personal training sessions, yoga and stretching for someone recovering from something specific. Mostly single sessions. Posters usually say the reason they are booking, which tells you more about whether it suits you than the category does.

Do I need to be registered or insured?

Massage therapy and several other modalities are regulated in Ontario and you must hold the registration that applies to yours. Taskly does not provide professional liability cover, and clients booking treatment frequently ask about both.

Do I travel to the client?

Usually. The task gives the address, so you can decide whether the distance works before you offer. Say in your offer if you bring a table.

Can I take only regular clients?

Yes. Each session is its own task, so somebody who wants you weekly posts weekly and neither of you is committed beyond the next one.
