About the role
Taskly is hiring a Digital Marketing Intern, also searched as a Social Media Marketing Intern, Content Marketing Intern or SEO Intern, for a remote, six-month internship. You will help the right people find Taskly: posters who have something to get done, and Taskers who are good at doing it.
You will work with the founder across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and search, writing and publishing in the plain, warm voice the brand already uses. The team is remote across India, the US, Canada and the UAE, with a shared window of 8:30–10:30 am Eastern. In six months you should have a portfolio of posts and pages you published, and a clear read on which ones brought people in.
What you’ll do
- Plan a weekly content calendar for Instagram and LinkedIn built around real tasks. Think mounting a TV, tutoring, editing a video or teaching a parent to use a phone.
- Design posts, carousels and covers in Canva using Taskly’s brand templates, fonts and voice.
- Write short captions and scripts for Reels and YouTube Shorts, then schedule and publish them.
- Research the searches people type when they need a task done, and draft titles, headings and page copy that answer them.
- Track results in GA4 and each platform’s insights, and write a one-page weekly note on what worked and what didn’t.
- Reply to comments and direct messages in the brand’s voice, and pass real support questions to the team.
- Turn Tasker stories, with each Tasker’s permission, into short posts that show what the work really looks like.
What you’ll need
- A portfolio we can open: a page you’ve grown or managed, a blog, a college-fest campaign or a set of sample posts.
- Strong written English: you can write a clear caption in two lines and a longer post without padding.
- Working knowledge of Canva, and you can cut a short vertical video in a phone editor such as CapCut or InShot.
- SEO basics: title tags, headings, search intent and how a page gets indexed.
- A habit of checking numbers: you know what reach, engagement rate and click-through rate mean.
- Availability to commit to the internship’s hours for its full six months, including the 8:30–10:30 am Eastern window on weekdays.
Education: Final-year students and recent graduates from marketing, mass communication, English, design or any other field are welcome. Work you’ve published matters more than your degree.
Nice to have
- A Google Analytics (GA4) or Google Skillshop certificate, or a small site where you’ve set up GA4 yourself.
- Experience with Meta Business Suite or a scheduler such as Buffer or Later.
- Writing ability in Hindi or another Indian language alongside English.
- Experience as a customer or creator on a marketplace, such as Urban Company, Swiggy, Airtasker or Upwork.

About Taskly
Taskly is a marketplace for getting anything done. Someone posts a task in their own words — typed, spoken or as a photo — and people who have been reviewed and approved send offers at a firm price. They pick one, and it gets done: a TV mounted, a website built, a parent taught to use their phone. We’re live in Canada and India and opening to more countries, built by a small team that works remotely across India, the US, Canada and the UAE.

Students and recent graduates. It runs for 6 months. What you’ve built or tried on your own counts as much as coursework.

A 45-minute conversation with the person you’d work beside, then one paid day on a real problem, then a decision in writing, with the reason.
Can I apply as a final-year student?
Yes, if you can commit to the internship’s hours for its duration. Final-year students and recent graduates are both welcome to apply.
Do I need a large following?
No. We look at the quality of what you made and how you explain what worked, not at your follower count.
Something else? Ask it in your application. A person reads it and answers within ten working days.
We don’t use AI to screen, score or rank applications: a person reads every one. If you upload a resume, AI reads it only to pre-fill your form, and you check every field before you send.
Taskly is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome people of every background, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation and nationality, and we don’t ask about any of them. If anything about the process doesn’t work for you, tell us in your application and we’ll change it.
